Famio includes features that allow information to be shared with family members and invited participants. Content shared within a family space may be visible to members of that space according to the permissions and settings you choose.

You are responsible for ensuring that you only share content you wish others to access.

04Artificial Intelligence Features

Some features may use artificial intelligence technologies to help organize content, generate suggestions, summarize information, improve experiences, or provide assistance.

Information submitted to AI-powered features may be processed by us or trusted service providers solely for providing and improving those features. AI-generated results may not always be accurate and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

05Photos, Videos & User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload.

To operate Famio, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, display, reproduce, and modify your content solely as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and support the service.

This license ends when your content is permanently deleted from our systems, except where retention is required for legal, security, backup, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or operational purposes.

06Data Storage and Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure.

No system can guarantee absolute security. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee that our services will always be completely secure or error-free.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and securing access to your devices.

07Service Providers

We may use trusted third-party providers to help operate Famio, including services for hosting, analytics, authentication, storage, communications, customer support, payments, monitoring, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure.

These providers may process information on our behalf under appropriate contractual and security obligations.

08Children's Privacy

Famio may be used by families and may allow content involving children to be stored or shared under the supervision of a parent, guardian, or authorized family administrator.

If we learn that information has been collected in violation of applicable law, we may take steps to remove or restrict such information.

09Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through the app or by contacting us. When an account is deleted, we will make reasonable efforts to remove or anonymize personal information associated with that account.

Certain information may remain in backups, logs, archives, shared family spaces, legal records, fraud prevention systems, or other systems for a limited period where necessary for legitimate business purposes, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or security.

Content shared with other users may remain visible to those users if it has already been shared, copied, exported, or stored within shared family spaces.

10Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect users, maintain security, and operate our business. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and applicable legal requirements.
