01Using Famio

Famio is a place for families and loved ones to stay connected through memories, journals, photos, events, conversations, and shared experiences.

We ask that you use Famio responsibly and lawfully. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. The information you provide should be accurate and up to date.

You must be legally allowed to use our services under the laws of your country or region.

02Your Content Belongs to You

Everything you create, upload, write, record, or share in Famio remains yours. This includes photos, videos, journals, notes, audio recordings, memories, comments, messages, and any other content you add to the platform.

To operate Famio, you give us permission to store, process, display, transmit, back up, and otherwise handle your content as needed to provide and improve the service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload and share your content.

03Sharing With Others

Famio includes features designed for families and shared spaces. When you choose to share content with other members, that content may remain visible to them until removed according to the controls available within the service.

Please think carefully before sharing personal information, photos, or memories with others.

04Keeping Famio Safe

We want Famio to remain a safe and welcoming space. You must not use Famio to:

• Violate laws or infringe on the rights of others
• Distribute harmful software or engage in fraud
• Impersonate others or harass people
• Upload illegal, abusive, or harmful content

Content or accounts that threaten the safety, integrity, or operation of the platform may be removed, restricted, or permanently disabled.

05Child Safety

Famio has zero tolerance for child exploitation, abuse, grooming, or any content involving the sexual exploitation of minors.

We may immediately remove content, suspend accounts, preserve relevant information, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities when required.

06AI Features

Some features within Famio may use artificial intelligence. AI-generated suggestions, summaries, recommendations, insights, or other outputs are provided for convenience only and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate.

You are responsible for reviewing important information before relying on it.

07Subscriptions and Paid Features

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing periods, and available features may change over time. Unless cancelled, subscriptions may renew automatically through the platform where the purchase was made.

Refunds are governed by applicable laws and the policies of the payment provider or app marketplace through which the purchase was completed.

08Service Availability

We work hard to keep Famio available and reliable, but no online service can guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change, improve, be replaced, or be discontinued at any time.

We may perform maintenance, security updates, infrastructure upgrades, or other operational changes that affect availability.

09Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account at any time through the settings provided within the service. After deletion, access to your account will end and your content may be removed from active systems.

Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, security systems, fraud-prevention records, legal compliance records, or shared spaces where content was previously visible to other users. We cannot guarantee recovery of content after deletion requests have been processed.

10Our Rights to Protect the Platform

To protect our users, our systems, and the integrity of Famio, we may investigate misuse and take appropriate action. This may include removing content, restricting access, suspending accounts, reclaiming inactive usernames, limiting features, or terminating access to the service.

Where permitted by law, these actions may be taken without prior notice.

11Intellectual Property

Famio, including its software, technology, branding, design, visual assets, and underlying systems, belongs to Famio and its licensors. Except where permitted by law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit any part of the service without written permission.

12Important Disclaimer

Famio is provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. While we strive to provide a reliable service, we do not guarantee that Famio will always be available, secure, error-free, uninterrupted, or capable of preserving every piece of content indefinitely.

You use the service at your own risk.

13Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Famio and its founders, employees, contractors, affiliates, partners, and service providers will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.

This includes loss of memories, photos, journals, data, profits, business opportunities, goodwill, relationships, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability will be limited to the amount paid by you to Famio during the previous twelve months, or USD $100, whichever is greater.

14Changes to These Terms

As Famio evolves, these Terms may change. When significant changes are made, we may provide notice through the app, website, or other reasonable means.

By continuing to use Famio after changes become effective, you agree to the updated Terms.
